Eligibility Criteria for ACPC BE/BTech Admissions

Candidates must satisfy the following minimum conditions set by AICTE and the Gujarat state government to qualify for the choice filling stage:

  • Educational Background: Must have cleared Class 12 (HSC) Science Stream from a recognized board (GSEB, CBSE, ISCE, etc.) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects.

  • Minimum Marks Required: A minimum aggregate score of 45% marks for the General category and 40% marks for reserved categories (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) in the board examinations.

  • Entrance Exams:

    • For the state quota, a valid GUJCET 2026 score is mandatory.

    • For the All-India quota, a valid JEE Main 2026 score is required.

How is the ACPC 2026 Merit List Prepared?

Understanding how your rank is calculated will help you predict your chances during choice filling:

1. Gujarat State Quota (95% Government Seats & 50% Private Institute Seats)

The merit list is formulated using a 50-50 weightage combination:

  • 50% Weightage: Percentile marks obtained in the Class 12 Board Theory Exams (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).

  • 50% Weightage: Percentile marks scored in the GUJCET 2026 examination.

2. All-India Quota (5% Government/GIA Seats)

Admissions are processed entirely based on the All India Rank (AIR) declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for JEE Main 2026.

Post-Registration: Tracking Document Verification Status

The entire verification process is digital. There is no need to visit any physical reporting center or submit physical copies to colleges.

  • Check Daily: Log into your candidate dashboard regularly to check your document status.

  • Status is "Pending": If your application status shows pending, wait patiently. The verification team will process it sequentially before June 12, 2026.

  • Status shows "Discrepancy / Query Raised": If a verifying officer highlights a problematic document, read the officer's exact remarks immediately. Re-upload a clear, valid copy of the requested certificate using the Query Redressal portal to avoid getting shifted out of your preferred category rank.
